As a writer, this is why I write lots of haiku. It is short, poetic, and other than a few basics not so many rules. No rights or wrongs of any significance. It is something I can finish on days when tackling a short story or the next chapter of a book feels like too much.
We refuse to read manuals not because of something bad, but because we have that grasp of adventure, exploration, discovery and want to get at it in our own way.
This is why you are so right in saying that life should be taken with a bit more space for opportunities that we cant predict where they’ll go
A little bit less restriction and order, and a bit more surprise and awe.
And if the bookshelf comes out wrong? Well you learned something new today (and maybe that way I can put that plush toy in finally)
